Dear IELLI Staff, Students and Friends of CILTER,

As the semester draws to a close, it has been encouraging to see colleagues continuing to share work that reflects the range of activity taking place across CILTER and beyond. This issue captures that sense of steady progress: a mixture of new publications, recent presentations and resources that speak to the different ways we contribute to research and practice in education.

The launch of SAJILE on 26 November was a welcome moment, bringing together authors, editors and partners involved in shaping the journal’s first issue. It also offered a chance to share the open-access pieces, academic blog and the new podcast linked to the journal’s development. It has been heartening to see this work come together and to recognise the collaborative effort behind it.

Alongside this, colleagues have published new research, presented at international events and taken on roles that extend IELLI’s engagement with wider conversations in language and international education. We also highlight a practitioner-focused GenAI resource that may be useful for those involved in teaching and professional development.

Thank you to everyone who contributed to this issue and for the continued generosity with which you share your work. Wishing you all a smooth and well-paced end to the term.

Best regards,

Missy & Sin-Wang
