CILTER Newsletter 2(1) is published!
Dear IELLI Staff, Students and Friends of CILTER,
As we begin the new year and the first issue of Volume 2, this newsletter brings together a set of opportunities and updates that continue to reflect the energy across our community in language education, professional learning and international collaboration. Alongside new publications and activities, we are pleased to share details of the upcoming St Andrews Professorial Masterclass: AI in Language Learning and Teaching, launching on 1 February 2026, offering content exploring AI tools, ethical practice and classroom integration led by Professor Hayo Reinders.
This issue also includes a call for contributions to BridgeTEFL’s BridgeUniverse blog, an opportunity to raise the profile of St Andrews within international TESOL networks and to connect our work with wider conversations in Latin America and beyond.
Across these items, continued commitment within CILTER contributes to shaping thoughtful, research‑informed approaches to language learning and teaching and to engaging with global partners in meaningful ways.
